Family Therapy

Families often show up for therapy when the status quo has changed. It can feel stressful and overwhelming for parents and children alike when something changes in the family. In family therapy, I help families to have new conversations with more empathy and less frustration. My work with families is grounded in a strengths-based, family systems approach that draws forth the family’s resilience and creativity to bring them to a place of deeper connection, understanding and change.

My work with families includes the following areas of treatment:

  • Family Conflict

  • Family of Origin Issues

  • Grief & Loss

  • Illness

  • Life Transitions & Milestones

  • Parenting Issues

  • Sibling conflict

  • School Difficulties

  • Teen/Parent Conflict
